It is with sincere apologies that we have to announce the postponement of Water Loss 2020 to November 8th to 11th 2020.Although we feel that China has a strong control of the Coronavirus situation and are confident that things will start improving soon, we are concerned that based on similar incidents in the past the situation will not normalise for another 4 to 6 months. This puts our original dates of June 7th to 10th right in the middle of this period and we do not want to take the risk of having to postpone the event at a later date, when a lot more people have booked flights and accommodation.

For anyone who has already registered for the Water Loss 2020 and cannot attend during the new dates, we will refund them their registration fee. In addition, the early bird registration period will be extended, and this will be updated on the conference website within the next few days.

For those people who have already booked flights and hotels, we once again apologise and hope that these can be changed to the fit in with the new dates. If people have booked at the conference hotel and are experiencing problems with changing the dates, then please let us know, as we may be able to talk to the hotel on your behalf.

At the moment the conference programme remains the same, although we will be emailing all presenters over the next few days to confirm that they can still attend. Obviously there may be some cancelations, so expect some slight changes to the programme within the next couple of months.

We will keep you updated on any further changes over the coming months, but the conference website will be the best place to see the latest news and advice.

Authors should complete their registration before June 30, 2020, otherwise the presentation will be removed from the conference proceedings.
The Accompanying Person Fee is USD 100, including access to the opening and closing ceremonies, the welcome reception and the conference banquet.

Payment & Policy

Payment must be received in full within 7 days of registration or before the conference date, which ever comes first. Entrance to the conference may be restricted with the applicant still held liable for the full costs should this policy not be adhered to. All discounts will be void should agree payment terms not be met. No discounts are available at the door, full price conference passes only will be issued at this point.

Registration should be completed with appropriate payment, which must be in RMB and payable in following ways:

Visa, MasterCard, and AmericanExpress cards are accepted. It will be billed in Chinese RMB and exchanged to your local currency during your online payment authorization. Consequently, the amount charged to your account may vary due to the fluctuation in exchange rates.

For Chinese attendees, the UnionPay cards are accepted for online payment.

3. Cancellation Policy

You must notify us by email at least 48 hours in advance of the conference if you wish to send a substitute participant. If you are unable to find a substitute please notify the in writing.

Delegates may not "share" a pass between multiple attendees. If you prefer, you may request a refund of fees paid less a USD 200 administration fee. No credits or refunds will be given for cancellations received within 30 days of the conference date. LBCG reserves the right to cancel and/or amend the agenda, venue, dates and advertised participants of any conference it deems necessary and will not be responsible for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by registrants.
